“The reason why the festival Director and Director of Programming Rosana Golden and Dean Bentley have chosen this film based on true events to be screened in Monaco was for the outstanding message to humankind, nature, peace, empathy, and understanding of how loss affects us all. All miraculously put together by its writer Betsy Bertram.

No doubt the film was about bridge building, healing, nature, and peace and the AFA-MIFF judges decided on ‘PEACE’ the inner peace and awarding The Angel Peace Award to “Captain Scott B. and The Great Adventure” (US).

Betsy’s father, Captain Scott B, actually won The Best Environmental Awareness Angel Film Award for showing his daughter Betsy and to friends and family members to respect, appreciate, and care for God-given nature’s garden. And the Jury's decision was unanimous on all the awards.

Another glorious win for Captain Scott B. and The Great Adventure receiving the Independent Spirit Award for the effort in creating this worthy indie feature documentary film.”
